XD and XDm slides are notorious for tight sights. Now that you have it out, no don’t file dovetail, always fit sight to gun. File sight just a bit at a time until fits right. XD9 service, XDe9. Hi Dequeant, The Elite OSP & non-OSP slides are easily interchangeable ... but the Elite OSP slide standardly has suppressor-height sights. I find that setup interferes w a good sight picture. So, you may want to change the sights as well.
