Drop rate IMO feels the same and you can generally relax and do 2-3 runs of normal in the time it takes to do a single Master. I did around 20 normals and haven’t gotten a single red box. 1 normal wellspring and the red border blw dropped on the first run. I did 5 normal and got 2 red autos.

That's the same problem the exotic glaives have now too. The Hunter glaive also has a faster rate of fire than the others which can catch people by surprise sometimes. The Hunter one is actually really fun with Arc 3.0. They can drop from Wellspring on any character, the drop chance of the pattern is NOT tied to class.Exotic Glaives pattern drop question.
