Instead of adding more options, we've included stat breakdowns for each weapon to give you an idea of how much base damage they deal and how well they scale with Strength.

But the Black Knight Greataxe has the highest Attack Rating coupled with a fantastic moveset (requires 36/18). Twinkling Titanite for the Black Knight arms is semi-rare till late game (mostly Crystal Lizards drop it).STR = Heavy Weapons with heavy Armor. The Dragonslayer Greataxe has long stood the test of time as one of the most reliable Strength weapons in Dark Souls 3. Sadly, it has always been overshadowed by the aforementioned Black Knight Greataxe. However, in our opinion, this weapon has its own merits.

Stats-wise, you aim for about 40/40 in STR/DEX. Strength focused is just as viable as quality, you just have a much, much smaller weapon pool to choose from. Either get strength to 66 and dex to 15 for a strength build, or each to 40/40 for a quality build. Quality is basically a hybrid STR/DEX build, where you split your stats between both.Dex weapons: Katanas, Curved Swords, Scythes, Whips: Poor Str scaling & high Dex requirements makes these very sub-par Str/Fth Weapons. If you really wanted to use one of these weapons in a Str/Fth build then you are probably best served by using a low dex requirement option that is buffable or a high AR option. Katanas:13. 11.
