This is the Git repo of the Docker "Official Image" for nginx. See the Docker Hub page for the full readme on how to use this Docker image and for information regarding contributing and issues. docker login requires you to use sudo or be root, except when: Connecting to a remote daemon, such as a docker-machine provisioned docker engine. The user is added to the docker group. This will impact the security of your system; the docker group is root equivalent. See Docker Daemon Attack Surface for details. Installing Docker from the Official Repository (Option 1) Install Docker from the official Docker repository to ensure you get the latest stable program version. To access the official Docker repository, add the new package source to Ubuntu and then install Docker.
