Club med ixtapa
We are trying to decide between Club Med Ixtapa and Club Med Cancun. Ixtapa is closer, and newly renovated. Cancun is more of a flight for us (we have a 3 yr old and 4 yr old) but I hear that there is more to do such as sight seeing Mayan ruins. I was wondering if people who have gone to either recently might have input.

The Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo Internaitonal Airport is about 30 minutes away from this hotel and an airport shuttle can be provided by the hotel. Getting Around This Club Med, while expansive, is considered a "smaller" Club Med resort. The property is easily walkable and there is no need to pack the stroller because the hotel is happy to provide one.
